Anson Fung is a J.D. candidate at the University of Chicago Law School. Originally from Houston, Texas, Anson graduated summa cum laude from Rice University, where he majored in Political Science and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Before attending law school, Anson was a teacher and debate coach at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, his alma mater.

On campus, Anson is the Online Editor of The University of Chicago Law Review, External Vice President of the Federalist Society, Student Director of the Kirkland & Ellis Corporate Lab, and part of the Edmund Burke Society. After law school, Anson will clerk for Judge Jerry Edwin Smith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Anson split his 1L and 2L summers at Norton Rose Fulbright and Beck Redden in Houston, Texas. His favorite TV show is Succession.
